A Ramayana musical within a play. Onstage, in the Ramayana musical, Rama and Sinta are deeply in love. But backstage, there are dark secrets.
Mian Tiara played Rani, a newbie actress who’s excited to be cast as Sinta in the Ramayana alongside her famous co-star Aditya, who’s cast as Rama.
The production had an amazing energy, thanks to the wonderful cast, musicians and the entire production team.
I was delighted to direct such a talented and commited group of actors.

The Ramayana musical within the Belakang Panggung play was directed by the ficticious “national treasure” theatre maestro Teguh Santoso, played by Kiki Narendra (center). Rama Widi (sitting,wearing crown) played his son, Aditya, who was cast as Rama in Teguh’s Ramayana musical.

… but behind the scenes things are much darker between actors Aditya and Rani.
