I write and direct films and plays. Most recently I have served as the head writer for Come and See Pictures, leading the writers’ room to create outlines for multiple TV series to pitch to global and local streamers. For the last few years I have written and directed public service announcements that campaign against sexual violence, gender discrimination, people trafficking, domestic violence, social media addiction and child marriage.

I have directed more than a dozen theatrical plays, from tense psychological thrillers to comedy shorts, and served as the president of The Jakarta Players theatre group. I co-wrote and directed Belakang Panggung (Backstage), a theatrical musical drama about sexual violence that won rave reviews in Indonesia’s media.

I direct, shoot and edit On Marissa’s Mind, a series of YouTube videos that address mental wellness issues, written and presented by Marissa Anita. I began my film making career creating non-fiction films, including feature packages, micro documentaries and training videos, for various clients.

I am currently writing a full length feature film script – a romantic comedy.
